Weapon: Twin Pistols.
The pistols, (affectionately) named 'Aim' and 'True' were purchased many years ago by Cristoph's Father... although from whom or where exactly they were bought is... a little shady. Nevertheless, Cristoph cherishes them and they are his most prized possessions. Each pistol is encrusted with Emeratos which, as their names suggest, makes them aim their precious bullets true and fast. It's pretty hard to miss a target with them, unless Cristoph really is not concentrating. However, if the pistols are separated, the power of the Emeratos dims and almost diminishes, making it hard to even fire one bullet. The further apart they are, the weaker and less responsive the guns become - it is almost as though their bond is broken.
The chamber of the two pistols glows with the turquoise light of the Emeratos, temporarily leaving traces of the crystal's power upon the bullets as they are fired, also aiding them on their journey towards their targets - fatal or not.

Personality: Cristoph is hard-headed and stubborn, determined, a little egotistical, desperate and business-minded. He's good at his job and works hard for his son. While he is reserved a lot of the time, he's also quite a character; making jokes and working to keep morale up on the ship. He will threaten people with the pistols he wields jokingly, if they are not putting in as much effort as they can. Despite this, it is not hard to imagine that he will keep his promises against his enemies, if the time ever comes when he feels he must.
His stubbornness can lead to difficulty for him, and he sometimes gets sick or injured for pushing himself too far - but to him this is never a bad thing.
He is honest and likes to tell it as it is, saying what he is thinking in given situations most often regardless of what ears happen to be listening.

History: Cristoph grew up on the island of Ralime, poor-ish but with a good head on his shoulders. But one day he met a woman and fell in love with her, and they had a child together. However, once his beautiful new son (named Nikolai Vayne) was born, his mother abandoned them both claiming that she was not fit to raise a child, despite his pleading at her not to go.
And so Cristoph, with not enough money to support himself and his new son, went searching for a job in the market of Viaticus. Timing was on his side, and he saw a ship docking in in the distance - there was a small buzz about the market, and he overheard whispers of the Keen Fox's crew and cargo. He knew he could provide for himself and his new family if only he could get a job on the famous Keen Fox ship, and so that's exactly what he went to do. At the age of 19 he approached the ship's captain and very nearly begged him to take him onto the ship. His begging and sincerity earned him his position on the vessel and, reluctantly leaving his son in the gentle care of his sister, he boarded and flew off to adventure.
He cherishes his son more than anything in the world, and is always constantly striving to make him proud and to provide for him, giving his sister a very heavy percentage of his earnings to pay her back for her care whenever they dock back into the island and he visits his son.
Nikolai idolises his Papa and wants to grow up 'just like him', as he tells his Auntie every day.
