Name: Samuel Etheridge Dare

Age: 20s (appearance) 485(ish)

Samuel is a small man who lives for simple pleasures. He loves to fish and go crabbing, loves sailing and being apart of his community. He is obsessed with being a local and takes a lot of pride in it. He is small but is a hard worker, and does everything he can to keep his relationship with his other brothers and sisters (Kitty Hawk, Hatteras, Nags Head, etc. )

He is apart of the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
He was apart of the infamous Lost Colony, but sadly does not remember how these people came to be lost, but is dedicated to hopefully one day figure it out. His only hint is his scar of the name 'Croatoan' on his side.

He has been an important (yet seemingly forgotten) part of the Civil War, and both World Wars.

He dislikes tourists even though he relies on them for income, and has a love-hate relationship with Hurricanes.

He loves snow, and always gets excited when snow does fall. He is rather close with Virginia and her Tidewater residents.

He considers himself a very southern boy, though has major cultural differences from 'normal' southern culture. He refers to people from other states or mainland North Carolinians as 'main-landers'.

He seems to be overshadowed by his brothers and sisters such as Hatteras and Kitty Hawk.

I finally finished him! xD I hope you all enjoy him, I think I'm going to have fun with Samuel. I've really been interested in my island culture and history for quite some time now and I think this'll help me understand more of it and get to express it in a way I feel I can.
