Description Old picture I thought I'd submit. From 2006.
Inventive title, no? and bad/warped photo, I know.

May go to scraps depending on what everyone thinks.

Willow charcoal, coloured pencils.

Thankyou very much. It took me so long to finish, it's quite a large picture which is why I had to take a photo instead of scanning it.

Heh, this picture took a long time. But it's an old one now. I just needed to upload something.
I used willow charcoal and smudged it around with a paper stump. I wasn't even looking to do it that way but it worked.
Thankyou very much my lovely!!!

yeah it kinda hit a sad note when i saw the lone crow
hmm means you did a great job portraying something emotional there

Which is a 'huge' part of my art... the emotion in it.

Which I think is great cause I believe people who view it would be able to feel it as well ^^

I like this one, I say keep it in your gallery. [:
The little lone crow is adorable.
Everything flows well, the vins intertwining, making your eye follow everything.

I spent so long on this one... it's quite a big picture, which is why i took a photo instead of scanning.
I was going for a sort of trapped and alone feeling.

I do believe you captured that feeling really well.
The little crow's just kinda begging for a hug or some company or something. to him.

Thankyou, the paper had the best texture for charcoal. At first I wasn't happy with it because i normally work on smoother surfaces but it grew on me.

You're welcome
I like paper with a littel tooth to it (except when scanning it) I usually use standard Strathmore paper, I haven't tried using anything really smooth in a very long time, but I do have some cold press board I'm saving for something special (don't know what yet).
