Description
This is my first ever photographed snowflake. I took the shot with my humble digital camera and freehand. In fact it is the first but one snow here, where I live...
It may not be something special with all those wonderful macro-photographers around DA... but to me it is.
Doesn't mother nature create the most beautiful art? I stood on my balcony, freezing, and marvelled at each ice crystal. They are so pretty!

Uuuuuuuhhhh.... windowcolour is nut exactly my favourite and since my whole flat is weirdly decorated all year long, I don't do seasonal decorations

Thanks for the link, it's gorgious. See, I'm a fan of tiffanywindow art and this was the cheapest and quickest way to do it myself. Something selfmade and individual as a protection from outside watchers, instead of curtains. I painted the whole window it looked a little bit like a church window. That's why I came to window color

lol! its the nickname that Aodh's cloak got given while I was sewing - than stitch ripping - than recuting - than sewing again!!! I had the VERY stretchy, very warpy fuzzy white material wrapped around the box the sewing machine came in... and while sewing... by hand... it sat in my lap... therefor fuzzy box!

The snowflake is a truly exquisite art of nature! I grew up with snowflakes like these. I remember looking down at my dark coat or my gloves and studying each snowflake. Where I am now snow falls in big clumps and you don't get to see each individual flake. I miss snow like this. It's beautiful!

It is nothing compared to professional macro photography, but this is MY snowflake. I am the only person who has seen it, since no flake is like another... Isn't that fascinating?

We don't have much snow here, actually and usually I don't like it, since it turns into a dirty mess very fast. I live in a city...
This year I want to have snow though...

On our island it is almost tropical :/ It got cold sometimes like +5 degrees, but never snow, just huge storms.
I live in a city now too for Uni and though it is much higher to the north it doesn't snow since exactly the year I came here -_-
