On our short vacation two weeks ago my friend found this stone... not bigger than a Euro, but with a face. At least it looked like a face to me. Since then I wanted to create a picture in mixed media.
This is the result. Watercolour, paper, a stone, ink and metallic acrylic paints plus protective varnish and glue.
This took a concept in markers and a failed watercolour attempt first, before I was happy enough.
Since this is a photo, it is next to impossible to get the actual colours right. This is as close to the original as I was able to get with lighting and the help of Photoshop
