Description How painstaking it was to work with this piece! The illumination was so hard to achieve - but I made it though at last. I tried to get very dreamy and surreal feel instead of the usual dark mood that the horror scenes normally have.

But I still think it's missing something.

Thank you so much. Luckily that rugged texture saved me lots of work so I didn't have to be so exact with the shading and stuff If only you would see this without the top layer...

Lol... I love it. And his ragged clothes do kind of look like fuzzy moth wings in back. I think it's a great detail, even if you didn't intend it to look that way.

Oh yes, especially I wanted the background to appear quite blurred like there was some light mist in middle of the day. I also tried to do some dense fog to crawl under the trees but I'm not quite sure does it look like fog. One might think it's just light shining behind the trunks.
