This is the custom background I have on my page, but as a whole pic 
Also yes I know the stars are really, really bad XDD I made it in a hurry bc I wanted it to be done :'D But as always you're free to leave criticism ^w^
I promise to art more once school stops with the exams XDD I have a drawing about half way done so it'll be coming out soon enough!
Time: about 3 hours
Used: GIMP and mouse

To begin with, this is amazing.
Now, about the stars. I think they're really well done for a quick thing. The only problem I see is around the aurora, they simply seems to disappear. The aurora itself is pretty good too, it's beautiful.
After that, the shadows in the bottom are simply perfect. Nothing to say about them.
