I'm an absolute fan of Mass Effect, but I would never say Shepard must look like this or like that : you create your own character in this game, so there should be as many different Shepards as there are players of the game !
Granted, I prefer girls with her, though !

Actually, the character I created back from the first episode was a red haired gril that looks pretty much like the "official" female Shepard that only appeared shortly before Mass Effect was released... Amazing coincidence, isn't it ?

Lol. She stole Miranda's outfit
Looking at this one, if I was a guy I would think, if she is available to laid with. The other one looks badass and is serious business. Though her expression looks more like "I'm here to protect you" than "Get out of my way" type. As a civilian, I would feel much safer with your bald one.

While I may likeΒ this Femshep better, that doesn't mean your previous Femshep is any less valid. Mass Effect is basically an illustration of the multiple universe model. There are many Milky Ways fighting off the Reapers, and across them all, commander Shepard takes many different forms. While some versions are more aesthetically pleasing to some and less to others, she or he is always a supremely capable marine.
Also, it'll be fun seeing your Boss from Saints Row!

Reminds of that scene in The "5th Element" where Bruce Willis walks out saying he's a negotiator and shoots one of the space raiders and then asks "Who else wants to negotiate?" and the shiphand asks "Where did he learn to negotiate like that?" Anyway good picture

The great thing about Shepard is that she (or he) can be anyone. So, yeah, they are both Shepard and both very well done.

While I LOVE this picture, da hell is wrong with people who say the other Fem Shepard doesn't look like your previous picture? It's called CUSTOMIZATION. Kinda a key element of all 3 Mass Effect games. Nonetheless, all of them look fantastic!

I like the first one a lot more. The drawing quality is still top-notch, but the armour in this one looks more like a spandex catsuit, than actual armour. And, y'know, her hair not being tied up.
Still, really great work!

I'm speechless. All your arts are AWESOME! *__* I can't fave them all, there are too many of them. I guess I'll just limit myself for now.

I admire you trying to make your own art, but it's not smart to mess with my redheads GRB. If you going to do something, always do it better and not the other way around. XD
At least you got her right this time. I forgive you.
All said and done, I think the dark armor looked better with that texture. I'm not sure if it's because the color or the larger spaces between dots or what. The iconic pose and background/foreground help a lot to draw in the fans, but I prefer the texture quality you had with the first Shepard.
Sucks people don't like your ideal woman (for a video game) in the last drawing. Everyone has their preferences and unfortunately the masses are feisty and pale. You can draw me redheads any time you'd like. If you do it once a month I'll even make a list of settings and clothing for you to pick through to make it easier.

Well, there's got to be some texture twisting tools or something, to make them rounded, you know, more 3-dimensional, but I've only recently learned how to add texture. It's texture-fetish phase going on today. I'm also in semi-sleep state still, nand speaking gibbeery.

I like the bald one more. She looked like the real soldier, rough and harsh. This one resembles a model posing for advertisement of some sci-fi shooter (oh wai...) or some gadget 'for real men' - in thematic costume and sexy as hell but with such an innocent and defenseless look (I did my best but couldn't take it as bellicose, sorry).
Regardless, it is a great art. I almost die when got to know you're drawing with mouse. All mine attempts to draw simple straight line ended with cardiogram. *builds small altar and begins worshipping of Sir Tiefling*
