I continued to draw and upload ponies as I thought I was a better artist, but after spending a couple of years on another site, the feedback I've been given has made me realise I wasn't as strong as I thought.ΒSometimes when I'm proud of a piece, I want to share it with the world, but when I get negative comments or downvotes, I feel as if I've failed, and converts my proudness into embarrassment.
Makes me feel like I should just stop trying.

Maybe some pictures arenΒ΄t perfect, but itΒ΄s youΒ΄re picture, as long you are happy with it, it is okay.

Try to ignore those comments. I do when it comes to pics and comics.
Just remember the saying, "Haters are gonna Hate". I follow it all the time in order to remind myself.

SJ, it doesn't matter what others 'personally' think, only how you feel about your creation.Β Critics are there for two reasons...to offer advice so you can improve on your work, or because they're jealous and they want to bring you down.Β When you get a critique, look at it from their perspective and if you see what they're getting at work with it; or tell them "what the &^)(_ are you talking about!" and move on.

Criticism can be painful, true. Β However, it can also be beneficial depending on how you see it. Β If these "neigh" sayers are saying stuff like this, use it as a reminder to strive to be better. Keep working hard. Β After all, that's what i did to all the hurtful criticism used against me by jerks.

That's how I've always took it. But when you're proud of something and post it expecting some positive feedback, and you find out you're in the minuses, it hurts. And no one tells you what's wrong or tips to improve, but they take their time out to click the red arrow. )=

You draw well, and represent the style of the show with your own special flare. I don't think you're a bad artist, and you're better than others. But, you are still improving. You'll get better, you always will. There might be a lesser piece now and then, but you'll always improve if you try. And, always remember, there are people who are proud of you and love your work. And even if you think the whole world is against you, you'll always have yourself and God who are cheering for you.Β

It's like your art has to be 100% perfect or else it will get downvoted. Ignore what those type of people say, I love your art, and loads of other people do as well. Β

If its a mane six recolour of, say an OC, the recolour will get three times as more upvotes and faves. The original picture will have much less and at least 2 downvotes. )=

Yeah I remember that you uploaded a picture of Orient Wonder a couple of weeks ago, and also uploaded a recolour of her as Rainbow Dash, and I saw the one with Dash getting far more upvotes simply because it's Rainbow Dash. But to be honest, I thought the one with Orient was better.Β
Sadly, it's just how most fandoms are, they're very ignorant to most OCs. I can understand if it's some shitty recolour done on pony creator on 5 mins, but you (and many other people) put effort into creating yours.Β
