"This STOVENATE has grown enormous thanks to Gigantamax energy, which also makes its inner fire as hot as the sun. To keep itself stoked, it will seek out other fires and draw in their heat - it often puts out wildfires caused by EXPLOLYPTUS in this way."
"The chimney on top of its body is now the barrel of an impressive cannon, which can shoot flaming projectiles made from baked soil or large stones to blow opponents to bits. Luckily, it is quite docile, since nothing dares to face off against it in battle."

Ability: Solid Rock/White Smoke

G-Max Cinder Cannon: A Fire-type attack that Gigantamax Stovenate use. It may inflict a burn, and damages other foes too close to the target.
(NOTE: 15% chance each to cause a burn. While technically a single-target attack, it will hit opponents adjacent to the target for 50% damage; the chance of a burn does not apply to collaterally damaged opponents.)

Now this was long overdue. I always wanted to do a little more with Stovenate, who really has come a long way from being an inoffensive standalone - a pre-evo is good and all but I also wanted to push the design a bit further, with a "super mode" modeled after a tank with one of the chimneys forming a turret. I originally considered it being a Mega Evolution, but that fell by the wayside and I don't know if I should give Mega Evolutions to my own fakemon just yet. When Gigantamaxing came along and I started giving my own fakemon G-Max forms, I dusted off the tank/oven hybrid concept, and this was the result. I like how steampunk-ish it looks, even if it has to keep the same type Stovenate has prior to G-Maxing.

I may be switching things up a tad to take care of other Sundo-related design work, but more G-Maxes are coming soon. Keep an eye out for those over the next few weeks, assuming real life doesn't get in the way as usual.
