#18: The Addams' - The Addams Family

They're creepy and they're kooky, mysterious and spooky, they're all together ooky, they're... number 18 on the countdown! The Addams Family. This was one of the earliest decisions I had for this years countdown and one I don't take lightly. I've loved the Addams Family for years now, and by that I meant ONLY the original television show and cartoon series. The movies and later TV show were God awful.

Although as much as I love the Addams, I have to mention another well known family of freaks that sadly did not make it in. The Munsters. Now, make no mistake I love the Munsters as well, probably as much as the Addams Family, but I had to make a choice and sadly I dropped the Munsters. Mainly because that's a lot of people to draw and I didn't want to go through the pain of designing cartoon adaptations of the actors as I'm no good at realism.

So honorable mention goes to the Munsters!

As for the Addams, I really don't know what else to say about these guys. They've entertained me for years and besides a few terrible spin-offs they always will. I wish they'd get revived respectfully someday, but I doubt that'll happen.
