In the Eastern land, there is no one who does not know her. Revered as a figure of glamor and filled with knowledge.
That woman was someone whose existence had been known as an idol of that era.
I heard many great stories about her. About how clever she was with her advice that had saved the fate of many people, and even the emperor sought advice from her. About the question that makes people wonder but with her knowledge, she can easily answer it. And also about her wisdom and expertise that is able to separate tense disputes from the two sides. But when I saw her in person at that time, it felt completely different. She was more than what I imagined, many times more charming than the news that has been spread everywhere.
She sat on an antique chair that was carved with gold, with her legs crossed like a slender and curvy platinum.
She wore a dress from the East that matched her beautiful face very well. A crimson dress decorated with gold embroidery and spider lily floral motifs.
An ornament in the shape of a spiral snake wrapped her torso. It's so detailed and looks like the masterpiece of a famous gold artist.
Her right hand was reddish in color, holding a cigar pipe which is also decorated with gold carvings. She inhaled it, then elegantly exhaled a puff of smoke that twisted like a snake. And her left hand, which was also reddish, was holding an oriental umbrella even though it wasn't raining at that time.
Her white hair that should have been long dangled in a bun with a hair ornament in the form of spider lily flowers. Two large horns adorned her head, making it look as majestic as an empress's crown.
Her facial fascinated me even more. Her face was round, with graceful curves. Red lips like a pomegranate, and a smile that seemed to be testing or teasing. And the unforgettable trait of her that I can't cease from my memories is her deep slit eyes that make whoever who stares sucked into it, like hypnotized and entangled by a titanic white snake that makes anyone helpless.
"So, is there anything I can help you with?", she said, waking me from my thoughts and making me embarrassed for staring at her for too long.
So I asked her something that had been bothering me for a long time, making me think that the answer was too impossible to find.
"Do you know about a vermilion-haired Shaman?" I asked.
She exhaled smoke from her pomegranate red lips as she tapped her thin finger on her cigar pipe, smiling meaningfully at me before continuing,
"Of course"
She knows everything.
