Description I just had to upload this. I took it this afternoon. I walked up to him while he paid little attention.
I got lots of great shots of him but this had the pool.
I got one too with him drinking

Why is that baby floating unattended? No wonder this doe is looking at you like that. Shame, shame, shame

Haha I think its too late for the baby.
My daughter mauled that a long time ago. She would maul the deer too given a chance

That's incredible. We have lots of deer, Black Bear, a little bit of everything.
But I live in the city. The Black Bear visit us more than the deer do. The deer like
to visit when we're driving.

Cool!
We have cougars in town a lot and they go after the kids and hang out at the schools. There was a grizzly in town last week and we had a black bear last week up a tree in the yard.
We have big horn sheep roaming the town too like stray dogs. They will butt you too if you get too close.

Cougars we have, but they are very rare around here and almost
never seen. Grizzly bear fortunately we don't have. There may be some in the
mountains up around the Great Lakes, off in the upper Adirondack Mountains,
but we never hear of them. No big horn sheep either. A lot of bobcats, some moose,
but also rarely seen. Coy dogs, a mixed breed between coyote and wild dogs we
have to watch out for in the wild. And more recently, though I've never seen one,
there have been reports of wild boar making their way up from down south.

Wow the boars sure are moving North.
I bet they would be the best for eating

They attack in bunches and from out of nowhere.
And I don't carry a gun. Let's just say I'd rather run
into a Black bear. They run from pepper spray.

That sucks Doug.
They should open a hunting season on them.
If they aren't supposed to be there it shouldn't hurt anything to wipe them out in your area before they get out of control.
I know they can be very vicious!

Yeah, you don't heat too much about them. An occasional small blurb
in the paper. But if I were able to hike like I used to, you can bet your ass
I'd be looking, everywhere.

skip2000 In reply to pyrrhite [2010-08-07 01:54:14 +0000 UTC]

They are rarely scared here. They walk right up to you at times. They only seem concerned about eating. All the time. They never stop
