Thankyou! They're alien, indigenous to my planet Thaedin. The time period would technically be in Earth's future, but it's also off-world so it gets a little weird there. XD Anyway, sorry. Rambling. Thanks again!

Interesting, Reptilian I assume.
They resemble an ancient mythical beast called a Dagadon. Except they were more insect.

Oh man I went to look them up and I can't seem to get any results :<. As for what class of animal they would be considered, it's a little hard to say. Most closely associated with mammals, but there is a lot of bird and reptile in there too. The bird is definitely hard to see though. I know when I was working on their skeletal structure I was staring at deer, dogs, pigs, and humans throughout the process of creation especially in creation of the skull.
