Description The choice is yours.

---

Hellsing fandom of the honourable Miss Hellsing. Argh, what a pain in the ass--but my efforts were not fruitless, naye?

The whole thing that inspired this bit was an 'ol fanfic of Jen-monster's (* croaky ) called " Young Queen Yours." (Very wonderful piece, by the way.) It's been an image I've wanted to draw for sometime but either (a) I didn't like the sketching or (b) lacked the patience to pay attention to detail--so like a year later I finally finish the bloody thing. Anywhores, Integral as a Vampire. I don't think the proud woman would ever stoop to such a level of the undead. Still, it's a thought I fancied and thusly reproduced.

So there be the suit fiend contemplating--she'd been betrayed, backstabbed and in the end murdered --her enemy's demise.

Ah hail Integra-Sama.

Edit: Gah. I couldn't stand lookin' at the ink version any longer. So here is the completed shaded -composition-, in all of it's smeered glory. Oh Gods, what a pain in the ass this one was. But people seemed to like it, and thusly it was good.

Original could be for sale. Yes, I'm in desperate need of cash. *wince*

Oo! The shading is just great, and the pose is good too. It's always hard for me to pull off a good pose. ^__^x
Your hands are lovely as well.
Great job! :claps:

This is a delightful old one that apparently still holds some charm.

Thank you, darling. Random comments are always loved.

Ohhh I like how you drew her in your own style, cool!
Ah I think the smudgedness just makes it look like a soft focus photo

You ever have someone else ink your stuff? Not offering just asking, cuz' it's really surprising what details a separate inker can pick out and maintain. I sometimes ink some of my brother's work because he's big on pencils and kind of scared of pens.
He honestly felt that none of his art should ever be inked because all the detail would be lost but when I started inking his stuff he realized it gave a whole different depth to it. So, he still believes his artwork looks better in sketch and should never be inked... that is, unless it's by me. Apparently, I am the exception to many of his "art school" rules.

This is an idear. Like your brother, I shy away from inks like no other. I mean shit, last night I was back to drawing spheres and shading with my inks (something I've hated since I was like, five). Maybe some direction would be of aid. Well, time to hit the tutorials.

(Any tips?)

As far as somebody else inking, I think that'd be interesting. Especially on this one seeing as how a lot of the detail gets lost in in the smudging.

Tips? ME?!
oh, god, I'm like the worse person to ask.

I had tried for years with pens and hated it, than took a class that taught me brush & nibs and realized that was just torture and I could do most of that stuff much faster with pens. I'm horrible really
I go through pens daily, I drag the points like a brush and I fill in space like a tattooist. Wrong, wrong & very wrong and on top of that I have the heaviest grip known to man, I keep having to take a day's break after inking every one piece. Unfortunatley, that's what works for me.

I think having someone trusted and fantsatic ink your work will do loads for your artistic insight. It's eye opening. It made me change my style drastically, but it also made me induldge being the sloppiest sketcher ever, because I never bother detailing what I know I can fix in ink.

We are our own worst critics, ne? Still, your inking seems to work and thusly it can't be wrong.

^^

Thanks, though, love. I'll keep that in mind for what not to do.

Honestly, I have no idea. I bought it in a 2 DVD set. <3 Cost me like $20 and now I've had my Hellsing fix for a really long time.

All hail Paladin Alexander Anderson.

Mmmm, atmosphere. She looks a bit too feminine than how she is usually depicted, could her feminine charms be bought out by turning undead >_>? While I love the shading you did, I think the mood and overall piece could be even better if you darken the darkest areas to a near black and sharpen the lines more, make them stand out more distinctly. But you can leave it as it is, the fuzzy look does work in of itself too.

*chuckles* I tried doing an ink version and was horribly, horribly disapointed. Still, we might take a softer pencil and try darkening it s'more and see what becomes of it.

Always good to hear from you. <3

Oh dear. I do love the smeariness. The drapes and folds of the curtain are just right, and the whole misty feel just adds wonderfully to the overall composition.

Purr. We're liking the pencil version of it muchly -- love how you shade. ^^ Plus I'm liking her face lots and all the drapey cloth that blends into the background -- makes it look sorta unreal. And I'm weird, but I'm really liking that little tattery part of the drape on the left. It looks neat, draws my eye.

Oddities of detail in my opinion make the picture. <3 Good to see somebody else likes the effort I put into this one.

Good to hear from ya. ^^

*shrugs* I'm workin' on a monochromatic graphite version of this bad boy that'll be vastly better.

Still, thanks hun.
