Description
So, I'll admit, I got a bit carried away with pixel art after doing Pixel Sunset... It's not something I really plan to do regularly, but both pieces have actually been quite helpful to me as studies in using colour to suggest shape and depth.

In my mind, the figure is Danyal, a character from my recent game jam game "Other" (which you can find here if you're interested) as he travels to the East before the start of the game.

The desert setting was inspired by the Planet Earth II episode on deserts which I watched the night before creating this.
