Aldo, a cultural enthusiast and a college sophomore, happened to be one of several friends who had been in contact with the Indonesian boxer named Dimas Dwi M, as he often went through boxing rounds around the huge archipelago. Being a continuous supporter of the vulpine boxer, Aldo did not expect to find him bigger and more powerful than he used to be as an amateur boxer. Such a surprise visit to Jakarta did not discourage Dimas, who told how the MALAKAS Project changed him for the better and encouraged his friends to sign up for the project, however only in California.

Dimas recontacted the Indonesian diplomats who once brought to the US, in order to bring his friends there. While the said diplomats were struggling to extract the serum they stole and reproduce it, they were willing to give another go through another negotiations. However few weeks later, this time negotiations were rejected upon suspicion behind the diplomats' return, but nevertheless the higher-ups were persuaded to bring in Dimas' friends in instead, provided that the diplomats paid on their behalf.

Simon Nightwolffe was once again summoned to train Aldo and his friends in the mountain base for few months. During development, Aldo wished to continue his studies while working out, and so his schedule was revised to do just that. However, there was only one library available around the mountain base and it was literally inside the mountain lab. While Simon noted that very few recruits were interested in studying or reading through a book, he agreed to set up a temporary library at his bunker, so as to drive up some interest. A big amount of literature (i.e. educational books, almanacs, novels, etc.) Aldo deemed informative or interesting were lent from a large library in the nearby city of Santo Tomas, but Simon demanded a couple of books related to gym or muscles as well, so as to further justify needing a local library.

While many recruits lacked interest in the temporary library (as often expected), some of them were willing to give it a try. In fact, there were kinds of recruits who prefered some specific kind of literature. For instance, young females were hoping for novels of any genre of their type, smarties were hungry for more findings but didn't want to waste their time going into the mountain lab, cooks and bartenders were looking for inspirations through books of food and drinks, and weapon and armor makers were skimming for ideas for their new crafts.

Aldo on the other hand was more interested in history and culture, and given where he came from, he opted to refreshen his skills in Pencak Silat (an Indonesian/Malaysian martial arts), even through mastering his use in blades. The other interest of his, particularly in the gamelan music, pushed him to weaponize the instrument ensemble into heavy metal shields and blunt throwables, which would naturally and disrespectfully offend other Indonesians preferably preserving the importance of the gamelan, though that may enligthen the idea of young ones. And even before he got carried away with this path, he got word from the higher-ups who indirectly approved of Aldo's action and made preparations to have a library built this time accessible for all recruits outside the mountain lab, much to Aldo's joy.

Aldo and his friends were eventually out from the mountain base on honorable charge after few months, and with the help of Indonesian diplomats, were brought back to Jakarta, where Dimas was excited to see them in their new muscular state, just a day before his next boxing match.
