More practice with digital airbrushing. The line art was done in ink on paper; I hate that deviantArt wants you to categorize art as either "digital" or "traditional."Lona is a character who I came up with a long time ago. She appears in different settings in different stories, but generally looks and acts the same.

I don't know when that's going to happen. Right now, being a PhD student is killing me. Even taking time out to draw is like coming up for air, but there's always that work-monster below me that yanks me back down and wants me to drown. I did write a little bit about Jaguar Woman over the summer, but it was a much simpler and less serious project than the fantasy novel, and I don't see much progress coming out on that any time soon, either.
