This would be the first picture using my new style I have been working on lately. It's more semi-realism. Still anime in a way. Somewhat still background centered and colorful. I'm never totally going to get away from that. I like backgrounds too much. I like how the fish came out in this. The cloth folds were hard to make delicate enough to match with them.Related content

Basically, it's just painting with a hard brush with a low transparency. It also helps to up the contrast, it gives it the effect of running paint. I do sometimes use filters, but this one does not use one.

This has such a cool potential I almost missed how short her arms are... not to mention devitalized (even if I try seeing it as surreal)... I can even get over the knee joint... but the arms...
I must say though... the use of colors and the design are brilliant! good job!
try using some reference or at least pay more attention to the arms in the future, okay? *hugs*

I did use reference...myself xD;; I don't think the arms are short as they are too thin. I tweaked the image. Thank you for pointing it out to me : )
