I know! Kauzikeranth is still just as cool, too, though. π

...this...is...AMAZING! I love Dungeons & Dragons, and, although I haven't played it, (my Dad said he might teach me and my siblings sometime, though,) I collect lots of Monster Manuals, because I love to read them for the information, and the pictures are amazing. This looks like it came straight off the pages! The idea of a hybrid Dragon just appeals to me, too, and the thought of a Metallic/Chromatic hybrid is fascinating!

Thanks to the lore changes in editions higher than 3.5E it's a lot easier to mix metallic and chromatic dragon species together as they're no longer 'black and white' in terms of alignments or racial tendencies. Hybrids are by far the most fun to play with. :>

I can second the appeal of Hybrids. Especially opposite Hybrids. A lot of the characters I use in my stories twist expectations in some way, like changing alignments and flipping usual traits, for example. One of my characters in my story, for example, is a good Wolfwere, while Wolfweres are usually evil. He's a werewolf hunter, which makes sense, since Wolfweres always hate werewolves. I have a Monster manual that includes a Bandit group called the Wolf Runners, led by a friendly, yet still cunning and criminal, werewolf, with a Tiefling lieutenant. I found him perfect to add to my stories, and, since my Wolfwere's partner in the supernatural hunting business is also a Tiefling, I'm setting them up as rivals.

Ah man, I can barely remember the campaign. There was a ton of Halo Forge manipulation going though, it really added to the experience by utilizing the in-game characters and a 3D world.

That does seem like it would be an interesting way to do it. Though I'd think some of the times things went... not quite as anticipated with the software might be distracting.
Possibly hilariously distracting. XD

It definitely brought in a very unique aspect to your typical DnD game. We built our own cities, villages, dungeons, etc. all from the Forge engine as well as utilizing the massive expanse of in-game terrain and various multiplayer maps available. Being able to really walk around and animate stuff outside of chatting through the headset was very immersive, 10/10 would do again in a heartbeat.
But yes, some of the monsters that were colossal in size had to be jury-rigged out of rather.. different materials. We had this kraken we were fighting while on a sinking ship made out of track ways and platform pieces. xD

Oh my... What a gorgeous dragoness. All those details all over her body are so awesome, and the wing is just epic.
Great work^^
Good old DnD. A hybrid of a red and silver dragon is probably pretty strange for some people, but not for me. I'm experienced in playing and mastering DnD so I now it's possible, as the gamemaster handbook says nearly at the begining that the master can change the rules to match his will to keep the campaign a good one. But we never let anyone to play as a dragon haha.

Love how you both made her recognizable as a traditional Red Dragon, but at the same time gave her a unique look all her own! Hope to see more of her!

This is perfect. I've always wondered what a Silver/Red hybrid would look like. It's such a strange idea, since Red Dragons and Silver Dragons are mortal enemies.

I know that in DnD 4.0 reds and silvers they relaxed on those pretenses, but yeah. I'm guessing her parents were social deviants. ;D

Really? Because in the DnD 4.0 book I have that is only about metalic dragons, it says a metalic dragon will kill a chromatic on sight. I, for one, suport socially deviant dragons!!!!!

DnD 4.0 book was rejected by the most. It has worst graphics and book designer job and insane ideas.
And in Draconomicon 3.5 good metallic can tolerate chromatic if they cause no trouble, even Bronze.
