I can't claim to be some secret die-hard fan of this show, but I do admit to watching quite a few episodes when it did happen to be on.
While corny at some points, the animation was beautiful and the action was pretty awesome too!THE BWOOOOOX GHOOOOSTTTT! *shot*
I wanted to take a shot at the actual show style! Get out of my comfort zone a lil, yanno?
It's actually fun to work with! Enjoy!

I used to be able to draw like that... but that was back in my weeaboo days... So uh... I'm afraid doing so will bring back unwanted memories of shame... UTTER AND COMPLETE SHAAAAAAAAAME...
That and I think drawing them in our styles looks... different... Cool, I guess... Sure, it's fun to mimic but... Wellanywho, that's just me...

Style-mimicking is an essential part of growing as an artist. D: I mean if you just keep copying one style forever of course it wont do you much good, but if you can adapt to many different styles, you can learn a LOT from them and expand how much you can draw!

Eh... I always felt it's a form of copying. When I started with drawing, all I would do is mimic since my own style sucked BAWLZ. Now... I'm just sick of it. Sure, I might grab bits and pieces that I find interesting or effective... But completely copying a style just... bores me... I'm so blowing this out of proportion... I mean, I guess it's okay for one picture but... I guess seeing that cartoon style so much has given me a headache. You did a great job though...

Isn't the study of realism just copying from real life?
Besides, all of our styles are inspired by other styles, just meshed together to create something original! Exploring one style for a short period (even trying to get it 100% accurate) doesn't make you a copycat XD It just lets you explore something that you yourself are not used to. I'm not saying you have to do Danny Phantom, but I mean try other styles! Ones you aren't sick of.

But anyways... I guess it's just me and my thing with tracing and copying... Long story short, my art teacher in middle school AND the one in high school (Hell, I think it might've been the same lady.) forced us to trace and copy whatever we thought was good... The one time I kinda refused got me in deep shit... Since then, I've never really tried to entirely copy someone else's style... BUT... Iwasthinkingofjumpingonthebackwagon... But maybe with a different character... Or him and Danny... added in... Girly knows damn well who I'm talking about... Don't you, comment stalker...

I miss the little guy! It seems like such a long time since I watched this show. I REALLY miss it. One of the better shows on Nick at the time. ;D
The lines are REALLY neat and smooth, and so is the colouring. The ONLY thing that bothers me is his right hand, it looks really weird because of the placement of the fingers. Other than that- it looks pretty cool. The background looks kinda anticlimactic though, but I'm sure you weren't really thinking too terribly hard about it before you drew him. XD I do really like this!
