Auto Cat from the Auto Cat and Motormouse cartoons of the Catanooga Cats show

At one time I had the novel idea that I might create a picture that encompassed my version of the Laff-A-Lympics teams with who I thought should be on each. I did many sketches of the many stars already on the show and many who I thought should be on them. Then 2 things happened; 1. Time; I just don’t have the time to make it one big picture the way I wanted to, and 2. In the middle of me doing this piece, David Nimitz created art that is totally brilliant of this very subject. Yeah, I colored some of what he used in his version, but his team that he created was awesome. SO...why try and do my own when that was a great picture to behold? Also, I just don’t have the expertise to make a group shot that looks right, or good for that matter.

So, here are the characters I finished with the new members i believed would be fun to have, had they been a part of the team. My Yahooey's team has different characters. Instead of Hokey Wolf and Blabbermouse, i have substituted Yogi Yahooey's that have abilities that would help the team, such as Undercover Elephant and Secret Squirrel. So, here, for your enjoyment, is the concept art for my proposed Laff-A-Lympics’ new teams
