Description
The Halong Bay is maybe the most photographed site in Vietnam. In total it is said there are 1969 islands over approximatively 1500 km². There are many different legends about how the limestone karsts were created, involving dragons and jade, but it took millions of years of marine regression and transgression to form these islands. Halong Bay is twice Unesco world heritage: once for its beauty and a second time for its biodiversity. On this shot you can notice the karsts and a typical floating house which is a shrimp and fish farm.Nikon D300, Nikon 17-55mm, B + W UV filter.

et j'ai enlevé beaucoup de mes photos avec cadre aussi

Ik hoop dat je goed weer hebt! Ik denk dat als je nu in juli-augustus gaat, dat je 7 kansen op 10 hebt om goed weer te hebben... Soms ben je daar en zie je zelf de kalksteenrotsen niet. Veel plezier!

OMG, it's soooo like Krabi province in Thailand (where I once lived). I'm sure there is a strip of land going through several countries with karsts like this!
