This picture looks really good. I like the shading effects you were able to implement with just crayons or colored pencils (whatever you used).
There are a few things I'd like to point out, though, if that's OK:
First, you made his head and face a bit too wide. While it is difficult to draw a head at an oblique angle like that, you didn't put as sharp of a curvature on the right side of the face as you should have.
Second, the hand that isn't holding the flag is slightly misproportioned. You made the hand overall too large relative to his wrist and forearm, and the relative lengths of the fingers are not quite realistic either. Hands, admittedly, are one of the hardest things of anatomy to draw, so it might take a bit more practice. A suggestion I have for improving that is to form your own hand in the same pose as what you intend to draw, photograph it, and refer to it while drawing, to give you a better sense of realistic proportions.
Third, he's got no hindquarters to speak of. His torso just tapers down to his legs, which to your credit was drawn smoothly, but there should be a slight thickening of the raised leg near his tail to give him hindquarters.
The legs, tail and shoes look great, though. I hope you realize I'm not trying to be harsh. You're a good artist. I'm just offering tips so you can become a great artist.
