Pokemon I choose you !

So it's Pokemon's 25th anniversary this year so here's my contribution to it's 25h year, I didn't do anything for it's 20th anniversary back in 2016, so now I am 2021.

So, I was really not sure what I could do. I didn't really want to just draw pokemon having a party or something, wanted to draw something more. I looked around on dA and Google Images for any ideas. Some people had drawn the original fat Pikachu from the first original games, whether it was black and white or limited colours. There was one with that Pikachu and the Gameboy, so I wanted to do a drawing like that. Each Pikachu and each console the main games were released on. So, below, I will explain each picture.
Gameboy: I drew the original black and white Pikachu from the Red version and the Blue version and the Green version. Gameboy did not have colour. I could have done Pikachu from the Yellow version, but I decided to do the much earlier versions, since it's black and white. So for this Pikachu I just used limited colours; black, white, grey. I also outlined this picture. I don't outline drawings anymore, but since they were sprites, and I tried replicating that, I did outline this drawin.
Gameboy-Color: I did a mix of the Gold and Silver and Crystal games for this one. So again outlining and limited colours since if you didn't know, they only had four colours. Pikachu has yellow and red, and black and white too. Crystal is also the first game to introduced animated sprites in the games. Also, Yellow was released on Gameboy-Color, too.
Gameboy-Advance: Just drew Pikachu based on the Ruby and Sapphire and Emerald game versions. This time much more colour and shading as well. But still black outlining here.
Nintendo-DS: Did a mix of Diamond and Pearl and Platinum versions as well as Black and White for this one. The latter introduced fully animated sprites in the battles, too.
3DS/2DS: A mix of X and Y as well as Sun and Moon for this one. The sprites are more detailed. I thinly outlined this one.
Nintendo-Switch: Focused on Sword and Shield for the last one. Did my best to make it much more realistic. I didn't focus on the Let's Go games for this one.
And now for the background. I wasn't sure what to do but somewhere someone did the games' colours, you know like Black and White for the colours. I decided to do that. I didn't bother doing the colours for Let's Go, since to me they are the Yellow remakes we didn't get. The closest we will get. xD
