Moon Prism Power, Make Up!

Here is part 2 of the Transformation Brooch, the first transformation item that Usagi Tsukino uses to transform into her first Sailor Moon form, using the phrase, "Moon Prism Power, Make Up!" during the first arc of the manga and the first season of the anime respectively, to fight the Dark Kingdom. In both the manga and the anime, the Transformation Brooch is given to Usagi from Luna. This is the inside of the Transformation Brooch.

So I am doing items from Sailor Moon and I will be doing the anime version of the items. I am also doing these drawings in a separate artbook and then tracing the final picture into a separate artbook, because my drawings can get quite messy and so here you won't see any visible mistakes. This way I can make all the mistakes I want that won't effect the final version. I am also doing these pictures with my phone's camera in lamp lighting for better quality.

I always liked the anime design of the brooch more than the manga version to be honest. Also it being the first transformation item I like the simplicity more. Also it being Usagi's first transformation sequence is very special.

So for the drawing itself. I know that the Transformation Brooch does not actually have an inside only an outside. I also realized that it is the only transformation item that Usagi uses that is not actually in the transformation sequence; you know when Usagi holds up and item or an item appears on-screen? She just raises her hand to start the transformation. Also there were two sequences of the hand being held up. The first original one and then the one where Usagi's nails become coloured. So this version of the inside is based on one that I found from FluffyBlueSheep. I don't know if she actually made the design, but it's in her gallery.

For the background I did it based on the transformation scene when Usagi is transforming.
