Ugh! It's actually Friday the 13th!

Okay, so, here is my Valentines Day drawing for this year and yes sadly it's being posted on Friday the 13th. Anyways, so, last year I had drawn up three different drawing for each holiday such as Valentines Day. The first would be for a Humongous Entertainment character, the second would be for my magical girl character Colour Red, and the third and final one would be for Angry Birds. Each one also had a theme or subject matter relating to that holiday. BUT, it was the most painful thing to draw so now this year I am only drawing whatever comes to mind, so that one picture counts. So, anyways, for Valentines Day this year I drew up my magical girl character holding a few Valentines Day gifts.

CONCEPT: So, yes, I will only be making one drawing for each main holiday or if I'm really bored I'll make another one. So, here, I drew up my magical girl character Colour Red with some Valentines Day gifts. What I did different from when I drew her last year was that I had her full body. Here, I just have her face. Anyways, in Japan on Valentines Day, it's mostly girls who send out gifts to boys. The main gift being chocolate. Though I had given her that theme last year I threw in some red roses as not only are they my favourite flower I guess but her favourite flower too. I also put in a little present and an envolope if you're wondering why the right side is white ish.

DRAWING: So, this was fun to draw. Maybe also because of the fact that I was only drawing ONE drawing per holiday so here I only drew ONE valentines day drawing. That way I wasn't rushing myself and because this one drawing has to count so all my effort went into this one drawing. It's really quality over quantity. Anyways, so, as you can see here, I didn't use a black pen for outlining as I feel I only use it more when I'm drawing smaller stuff or when I'm trying to draw just a bit more real, I don't use black pen. Though I'm still not the best with drawing little imperfections.

COLOURING: The colouring was a lot more fun than the drawing. Though it was quite hard to colour since I'm not the best with colouring hair or clothing.
