Though seriously, what do you set your brush to when you soft shade and what should the opacity level be?

I like to use some airbrush and watercolor for shading. But be careful with airbrush, don't use too much. It's easy to overdo. And with some shading, I also use the gradient tool. Also, I like to create a layer above my colors and click "clipping". Then, you can use cell shading.
