Sometimes, all you need is something simple, like someone to take care of." – Aigis

This image is both a long overdue to-do list entry I've (finally) gotten to, and also celebrating this year's (re)release of Persona 3 Portable on PC and Switch!
Though that dates back to January 19 already, but better late than never!
Yep, outing myself as a Persona-enjoyer with this post.
Here I wanted to draw Aigis in my usual style, although influenced (a little) by the shading and linework of the P3 portraits. Hope I succeeded in that!
Her pose is a bit of a nod to a certain "hearing your voice" moment (+1 Charm if you get that reference), hence the surprised gaze.
Releasing this on this day for a reason. *cough*
That being said, I really enjoyed her character and can recommend the franchise.
Persona 3 Portable on a PSP was my entry to it and holds a special sentimental value for me. While I do wish it had the animated cutscenes from P3 and P3 FES, its visual novel-esque charm was also quite welcome.
While I do think it's a mild bummer the PC version is a straight P3P port with upscaled graphics, it's still a splendid game – at least if you're into the more accessible type of JRPGs.
And it's got a good message to take to heart.
I do hope there'll be a remaster (someday, or a good remake) which merges the best of its editions: P3 FES and P3P. It's to my awareness sadly the only Persona game so far that lacks a definitive edition.
Having the female protagonist route, cutscenes, 3D overworld movement with optional quicktravel, The Answer and controllable party members in one game would be pretty neat, am I right or am I right?
But in any case, I get why they picked it: P3P has the best gameplay comfort and a second protagonist route with a different vibe and OST – and the simplified overworld movement, VN presentation and quick-travel is great for on-the-go (Nintendo Switch players and perhaps even Steam Deck owners might appreciate this).
