Backstory
Reed was the black sheep of the family because his mother died giving birth to him and he was the only male member who disagreed with their belief of being stronger than others meaning they better than them and compassion is for the weak. He would always get assaulted by his older brothers, his sisters would insult him and throw food at him and worst of all, his father would beat him with a belt while calling him an embarrassment and blame him for his mother’s death.
Eventually Reed runs away from his abusive family, He meets an Nene, an sweet a part of a gang of bandits to steal money from wealthy people to pay for the medicine he needed to cure his ill pregnant wife, Nene ,he broke a promise with his boss, Royland when he wanted Reed to kill an traitor in the gang when they refused to pay for protection money, he agreed with it at first and stops at the last second when the traitor was an young man who was forced to work with the bandits. Reed decides to let the kid live because he couldn’t forgive himself for doing so and he faked his death, the boss somehow found out about this and Reed payed the heavy price: his wife and unborn child was killed as Reed returns home with the medicine needed to cure her illness. Enraged, he slaughtered the bandit gang except for Royland who Reed heavily wounded but he gets away. Reed been trying to track him down Lanox to his hometown, Valentino. Along the way he encountered the Shinigami, who he thought was working for Royland so he attacked them and nearly cuts Harlow’s head off, luckily Esther restrained him with her webs. Reed apologizes for his actions and explains what happened to his dead pregnant wife and the man who had her killed. The Shinigami relates with his tragedy with their own and decided to help him track down Royland who actually was waiting for him in his old hideout in Valentino with his remaining men. As Reed and Royland has their final duel, Royland had the audacity to tell Reed that he brought the deaths of his pregnant wife and unborn child on himself. This spurs Reed into an berserk-like state, breaking Royland’s swords in half then wails on him by chopping him to pieces. Most of the Shinigami were shaken by this but Harlow and Pearce congratulate him for getting his well-deserved revenge.

Reed has Intermittent explosive disorder (IED)

He is the first OC I’ve made who is a widower(FYI: a man who has lost his spouse by death and has not remarried.)

His fighting style is a mix between Ichigo Kurosaki from Bleach, Ike from Fire Emblem and Guts from Berserk.

The design of his Gulliotine sword is a reference to Zabuza Momochi’s Kubikiribōchō

In his 3rd path, Reed uses his blood to increase the size of his Guillotine for longer range and break through his enemies defense, he allows himself to get scarred by the enemies as a sign of respect to their strength.
