Thanks!!  I used the Konad stamping set.  It's very fun!

Oh wow, then I congratulate you!  I have some of their simple little flowers and whatnot and could never *quite* guarantee good results.

I was going to say that it reminds me of the traditional blue and white porcelain xD
Very beautiful!

Reminds me of painted eggs. Lovely.

You have very nice skin, btw. How do you keep your skin that healthy with all the clay you work with? Mine looks like a warzone of dryness, cracks, etc.

Thank you!  I put on tons of lotion and cuticle cream too.  When I didn't, the clay totally made my fingers dry and peely >.<

Hmm, I see. Cuticle cream, never heard of that!

Do you pre-scrub before you work with clay again? I have to, or my clay gets weird. Before bed I rub in lotion/oils on my hands so it has all night to really absorb. I wash my hands a LOT throughout the day because nearly everything I do gets them mucky in some way (clay, paint, chicken poop...) so it might just be that mine don't get enough time to recuperate. /ponder

I only wash my hands with soap before i work with clay so there's no lint on my hands.  I also have baby wipes on hand when I'm working with clay. You probably do wash your hands too often (even though I can see why it's necessary) so it might be harder for your hands to retain oil.

Hmm okay. Yeah I really do! Today I'm moving newly hatched chicks about & have to wash my hands frequently. I don't want the little buggers to get sick. It's only noon & my hands feel like 220 sandpaper.

Aww.  Can you wear gloves?  I bought like a box of latex gloves for home use (sometimes my dog has accidents and I don't want to pick up poo or wipe pee with bare hands lol since it seeps through paper towels).  If I wash dishes, I also wear dish washing gloves so my hands don't get more chapped

I can but I don't like it! Gloves with crafting makes clay work too slippery or sticky. We've a dishwasher now so my DH 'loves' (or so he says) washing dishes - so I dun have to do eet!

The big issue with gloves is they're either powdery (which I have to wash my hands after) or they make my hands sweat (same thing).

I just need to plan & pace out where & when I craft or cook. Like, I always try to cook before I work with clay or paint - so that I don't accidentally put toxins into our food or need to scrub my hands so hard that they're raw. With summer I'll be working more in the dirt, and I'm not so worried since it's just dirt & playing in the muck actually improves my skin. But I think I'll wear gloves when I go to compost the poultry manure...

Thanks for the idea!

I am lucky! When we were first moving in I was like "What do we need a dishwasher for?" and DH was raving about it (he grew up with one.) So I said "Fine, then you can do the dishes from here on out." He agreed.
