Done in trial version of photoshop cs. Took a veeeeerrrry long time, I lost track of the hours. Literally just in time for Halloween!

Thanks so much! It is pretty hard to get at first, but the dodge tool really helps to make it look painted, and also painting or airbrushing over the original peice first before using the dodge tool. To deepen the shodows on the folds it helps to use the burn tool, just don't use the burn tool of skin tones, otherwise it starts to look fake

yeah it goes this odd grey colour . I use the smudge tool a lot. I know everyone goes omgnoesdontusit! but I sort of like the effect it can giveas long as you use it at the right size and pressure. It looks bad if all the edges everywhere are smudges obviously but I think it can be good

The falling flower petals are a nice touch, but you might want to make them a bit more random.
I love the way this looks like a painting instead of a photomanipulation.
I think the climbing trees are my favorite part.

Wow I adore the grainy effect you got on this and the way you dropped the background to B&W without it coming across like it was ... erm you know what I mean ... I hope :S love the painted effect too this is so cool I really love it
