The colors are starting to turn more quickly now. Today is raining and colder... I don't know how much longer the leaves are going to stay. But they're more colorful than I expected.

Yes, same here. This fall, when most trees are just starting to turn around here, there are many bare trees: we've had such an awful drought for the last year, fires everywhere, and a lot of dead standing trees. Breaks my heart.
