I walk through the door. She looks around to see who it is. We make eye contact. The moment I come into range of her eyesight, she recognizes me. Her reaction is always different, but it's always joyous. The toothless smile forming on her face is enough to make my heart light up in awe. I can't help it, throwing my bag down on the floor and running to the angelic being sitting on the couch, I pick her up and swing her in a circle. Her faint giggle makes me stop and raise her over my head. She loves being taller than me. I tell her about my day and afterwards, she tells me about hers. I listen with open ears. I make our time together last, seeing as it's almost nap time. At about 6:00, we go to my room, turn on her favorite song by Cee Lo Green, and I sing her to sleep. As creepy as it sounds, you can't help but watch her while she sleeps. After awhile, I, myself, fall into a great slumber. I dream of her and how she changed my life. I dream about Baby.
