More of an impressionistic piece, which for me means that it took only a little time but it's produced with alot of inspiration and therefore is a more intense image. Enjoy...EDIT: added more detail!

this is very emotional. it reminds me of a story in "A Glory of Unicorns" where the unicorns are fading out because no one believes in them, becoming painfully less powerful and visible as time goes on. this pegasus looks like he is striving to haul himself out of the clinging, choking darkness.

Thanks! It's digital art- photoshop cs. Hope that doesn't disappoint you too much! I don't remember what brush I used, but most of the effect is from the smudge tool.
