I love this one. The darkness in it is great compared to the bright white of the eyes. I also see the strong resemblance between the shape of the face and the easter island statues. The colours look great and I like the black sketching lines a lot.

i really like the color and texture of this. your work reminds me of what a more colorful giacometti would have been like.

Fantastic work; really dark and strange. Very imaginative, well done.

It makes me think of a Pet Shop Boys song called "We All Feel Better in the Dark". And those totems from Easter Island. (What is he saying to me?)
Beautiful image, smesch-Thank you.-R.12

oh i love the texture too, wonderfully created, its almost stone-like..
and the eyes...those brilliant white escaping thru the slits, giving the face a worn and weathered yet shrewed expression....beautifully done!

man, i been looking at and loving this for the last couple of days.
sorry it's taken me awhile to comment on it.
the color combinations are excellant. i love the way you have them
sectioned off that way to create the face.
and i really love the face as well. the textures. especially the
textures that are created naturally from the black outlines. i totally
dig those big fat rough lines!
i like those cool eyes too. making them 'slits'. but that's a bit
misleading,...because of that brilliant white escaping. as if this character
might be old, tattered, worn down by the years,...but, his mind and soul
are still strong and see clearly.
excellant work man.

it looks like one of those stone heads on Easter Island. Or something tribal. I like it.. the colours are good, the shapes feel right. Definatly a painting I'd have on my wall.
