I don't get why our school teachers don't understand why we hate Mondays. When we say "We have to be here so early, and we have to stay for hours. I hate it!", teachers always reply with "Well so do I, and I'm here longer so deal with it."
And just
no.
YOU chose this as your job, you chose to spend your days with 'shitty teenagers who will amount to nothing' (I actually overheard a teacher say that once), you chose this as your daily life. We, the students, did not choose to be here. We barely get any say in our classes, because everything is mandatory. We were literally forced to be here, so I just wanna yell at every teacher when they say that. Don't you dare call us lazy. If we didn't have to spend so much time at school, we could be off pursuing our dreams much sooner. The athletes would get more practice time, performers like me could take more of those types of classes, writers and artists of all sorts could just do their thing. Contrary to popular belief, knowledge isn't everything. I'm sure there are thousands of artists on here who have dropped out of high school or college- and still love their lives and make a pretty good living off of their art.
So yeah. Um.

Totally understood! They're always like, "When you get a job, you'll need to do the same thing!" Ya, well I'd get paid to do my job, now wouldn't I? I don't get paid to go to school... Zero motivation, other than seeing friends that is.
