Chris Martin from Coldplay. This is my first piece done in adobe photoshop and i am pretty darn happy with it.Let me know what you think.

ahh i love how it has a flare of an impressionistic look to it. (im a big fan of impressionism so i especially like it- and not to mention a big fan of coldplay as well

I love the face and the hair -- good shading. I think the white glowing-ness on his collar though is a bit distracting. Lovely image otherwise, nice how you've managed to make this piece look almost traditional: as if it was composed from brush strokes.

thank you so much! haha yeah the glowing thing i added in because in the picture i used it had this glare so i decided to stick it in. it probably wouldn't be much of a distraction if i added in a proper background, but thank you once again for you comment!

this was my first time trying it and i had no idea how to use any of the tools in the program! haha
its fairly simple once you get the hang of it.

okay so, did you use a pic and distort it or make it up. its really cool

i used a reference and then drew it.
its alllll free hand; no distortions done on the original picture.
