ahh but actually, these are some of my japanese characters!! i really love them a lot <333 Kumiko is the class rep and Arianna's the new American student! Shun is Kumiko's best friend and Minoru's the guy who has a crush on Kumiko, until he starts to realize he's actually doing all the annoying stuff bc he's doing to get Shun's attention! :00 tbh it just gets v gay after that bc minoru confesses to shun and shun's like "ur just confused u dont rlly like me" BUT ANYWAYS I COULD TALK ABOUT THESE BABIES ALL DAY BUT I RLLY WANT TO ACTUALLY DRAW SOME REFS SO i'll just put some quick bios below yo //mostly for my future reference tbh

Hoshino, Shun [ 星野俊 ]
- grade/age: first, 15
- club: art club bc he loves painting
- personality: quiet, reserved, keeps things hidden but actually likes talking to people and knows how to make conversation without being awkward about it. can be kind of shy though, can have a short temper at times, and is insecure about certain things.
- other: best friends with Kumiko and Akio (who i still have to draw//sweats). he thinks he's kind of boring bc he thinks the only thing he does is paint, but that's not true. his nicknames are Shu-kun (from Kumiko), Hoshi-kun (from Minoru and Arianna) and Shishun (from Akio).

Uehara, Minoru [ 上原實 ]
- grade/age: first, 15
- club: volleyball!! he plays that sport yo he hits the ball and has fangirls not that he's interested in them
- personality: nosy, outgoing and friendly! he loves meeting new people and has lots of friends, but he can be kind of annoying and arrogant at times. some people think he's shallow or conceited, but he really isnt and just wants to get across to his friends that he cares.
- other: close friends with Arianna. some of his classmates think he's a delinquent bc of his hair color, but he just dyed his hair :'D his nicknames are Mino (from his mom omg nerd), Noru-kun (from Arianna) and Hararu (from Akio)

Sawada, Kumiko [ 沢田久美子 ]
- grade/age: first, 15
- club: she doesn't go to club but she's the class rep
- personality: comes off as kind of cold and strict, but she actually cares a lot and helps people out all the time. she's independent, which makes the boys in class like her, but she always turns them down. when she's w/shun, she's a lot more open and loves to laugh and is pretty bubbly.
- other: best friends w/ Shun and Akio. fluent in English, which is how she and Arianna became friends. her nicknames are Ko-chan (from Shun), Mikoda (from Akio), Miko (from both Shun and Akio) and Kumi-chan (from Arianna).

Tinner, Arianna (idk how the kanji's written bye)
- grade/age: first, 16
- club: idk yet i'm still deciding its probs gonna bE CHEER BC IM WATCHING CHEER DANSHI AND WHOA BOI
- personality: a genuinely happy girl who's still trying to get used to japan. some people think she's dumb bc of how happy and oblivious she is, but she actually ranks in the top five during tests. she can be sneaky and is really good at keeping secrets. she also likes to act uvu
- other: close friends w/ Minoru. she's fluent in japanese, but bc she's from america everyone thinks she isn't (she proves them wrong real fast). her nicknames are Ari-chan (from Kumiko and Shun), Aria (from Kumiko), Anna-chan (from Minoru) and Aritin (from none other than Akio, who loves to give people he knows really weird names im so sorry guys)
