Love the colors on the bird! I'm trying to figure out what could be making you feel like it's not finished yet... It does have some depth but maybe the shade of some parts of the green can be changed to push some part further back? That might open up the piece a bit more.Β

Thanks! and thanks for your input. Β Changing the value of the green was the thing that I was gonna do. But I really only like painting wet into wet and for whatever reason I had to abandon the painting for a couple days. And I just didn't want to deal with it. trying to maintain the texture without totally having to destroy it would probably not have been possible. I'm not as concerned with the finished product cuz I'm still very much into Β learning how to use my materials mode and things like that. So I got what I was going to get out of it. Sorry that was so long...and thanks again!

Thank you! I use these really smooth panels that make it easy to lift the paint off for creating texture. I find the texture of regular canvas too distracting and I'd rather create my own.
