Lovelady's men openly carry suitcases full of money stolen from the caches of the richest, greediest men in town. They pass by the alley - and there's Jarod.

"Hey buddy," they say. "Want to come with us? We got good food, money, nice warm bed, anything you need. We'll take care of you."

"No thanks," says Jarod.

"Shame. Would've been easier if you'd cooperated."

Deadra learns the next morning of a radioactive emergency in Lovelady's headquarters. When she arrives, there lies Jarod, himself a glowing pool, surrounded by puddles of what must have been her own men.

Lindsay, Lovelady's right hand, stands beside her. "This doesn't look like any pie I've ever seen," xe says.
