Still makes me sad. L was so cute. His hair's weird in my pic, but I think I know why.Kairi bumped me a couple times while I was inking this, or there wouldn't have been shadows under his feet. >.>

From what I can tell it's good, but I'm still in the second chapter.
There's 12 manga (13 if you count the one w/ character profiles, mini comics, and other random info.), a text book (no pics, the one I was talking about, called "Another Note"), and I guess there's one more book that's really stupid stuff that you would know if you just read the manga. There's also an anime, and 2 or 3 movies (that deviate a little from the storyline, and have a different ending).

Yea, the fight and the tennis match have AWESOME animation! There's also a little fan service, but other than that it follows the manga pretty close. The ending is really beautiful.
I have all of the anime, manga, and the book. I've seen the movies, but I don't have them. I also bought a Near keychain.
(There's a lot of Death Note merchandise, but I haven't been able to bring myself to buy much. I got my ears pierced for the first time for my wedding, and a while later I bought some really cool Full Metal Alchemist earrings, very subtle. First my neice pulled on one and ripped part of my ear, so it was really hard to get earrings in.

Thanks! Yea, I miss L, but I expected him to die. They had written themselves into a corner. As far as I could see, only ways to go were to have L win, or have him die. L winning would've made for a sadly short series.

Yea, I really wish they had expanded on that more. (And in the anime where L was standing out in the rain all sad, and it kept showing clips of him standing next to Watari. He told Light he'd understand soon. I don't get it. Was it the anniversery of the death of his parents or something?)

L's hair is aaaalways weird ^_^" But really, I think his hair looks pretty good in this. And all the clothing folds are nice and clean and pretty. Love the classic way he is holding his ice cream
