A good 1:1 macro Prime lens with a focal length of between 90mm and 180mm is such wonderful an asset.

Indeed, Apis Mellifera, the humble Honey Bee.

Super shots in your gallery.
I am increasingly of the opinion that I prefer the results from Nikon cameras to Canon. And the Sigma 105mm macro lens is particularly crisp and pleasing to the eye.
