One day I found a really 'touching' photo and I wanted to draw it.I hate how the water came out, although I'm pretty happy with the child's outcome.
(Edit: corrected the water's shading a little. It still doesn't look very well, but now I'm happier with it)

Water is always extremely challenging.... might I sugguest next time trying a larger format. This will allow you to concentrate more on the details making for a very realistic end results

The waterdrop image was my second attempt. The first attempt was only graphite pencil, but I played arround with water color and found it was more fluid..... I also did a larger format the second attempt. I am pleased with the end results. It gets most recognition of all my pieces.

This is a really nice picture once again! I agree with you that the child is come really well. And for just cross-hatching (read your comment...) this is amazing! I see that people have already commented on the water, but practice makes perfect, and you've got the liquid down, it's just getting the right shading I expect (And water is an incredibly challenging to do 
It's a shame that the scans don't come out perfectly, I'd love to see your art in real life.

and about scans- I finally foud a way to scan my pictures without getting
that 'grainy' effect, so that's quite good news, I guess...
