Really managed to capture southport at its best there.
It's so rare to see southport like that, usally its grey bleak windy and raining

Oh my!! This is very nice. Beautiful job depicting the soft waves using the darks underneath and the light on top. Also very nice depiction of the light reflecting on the still water. The pier has some great detail as does the two people walking along the seashore. I like this painting very much.

It is a very beautiful painting. I get sunsets by the sea where I live and I never get bored with them. Overall it feels very peaceful; you've made the water look very calm and I love the detail on the couple and the pier. Wonderful colours; my only critique would be the clouds seem a little too solid. Other than that a great painting, well done.

wow...beautiful colors...nice use of oil texture as well...i like the vast space and the solitudiness of the couple...as if they are untouched by others...and they are so in love...the peir looks alright...the clouds need a little bit more work though...it looks a bit odd...not as uniform to the sky like it should be...
