It's not quite official... It's complicated and there were some miscommunications and a lot of people who disliked it I think.
I felt apathetic towards it, but I feel apathetic towards all but about two ships.
I am absolutely ALL OVER this as a queerplatonic relationship though!!!!!!!!!

...While I feel apathetic towards most ships, I don't understand why people feel entitled to crap all over ships they don't like.
It's just an opinion, and people NEED to learn which opinions are actually worth fighting over.
Saying two characters look cute together? I mean I personally prefer a queerplatonic relationship because I'd have loved more healthy best friend relationships that don't turn into romance growing up, but I don't really mind if it does turn romantic.
On the other hand, glorifying an abusive relationship? I'd request that people explain why that's not a cool thing to do.
...Eh. Ironically I feel kind of strongly about stuff like this.

Well, sometimes it's for story/plot purposes.
If you know that that kind of relationship is not healthy, but you do it to advance the plot or do character development, or because it happened to you and you want to vent or tell your story... As long as you don't romanticize it and make it look desirable, I'm fine. Lots of things get written and read in fiction, it doesn't mean that someone approves of it.
But if it's something like Twilight, where the relationship obviously hurts at least one person and is really unhealthy, and is making it sound like a good thing, then I cannot condone it.
Maybe it's just because I personally don't really want to be in a romantic or sexual relationship that I'm so... apathetic. Or tolerant. Call it what you will.
But I think there should definitely be more people like us... Fandoms would be so much nicer and more enjoyable if people learned which opinions were harmful and which can just be tolerated, and how to act when opinions differ... THAT'S what should be taught in schools, not algebra.
