Little birthday gift for my senpai, Frosticee ! Her birthday was on October 13th, but I wasn't done yet, and I only had time to finish it now sorry ;w; Hope you like itTook me about 2 days (drawing a few hours each)

A short critique
A really sweet piece! I really love the background, and the colors you've used! The halo, the wings and the scarf are also very cute
You could, however, create more shadows. Right now the piece is a bit flat. There are no real shadows or highlights, nothing that really makes it pop out. A small highlight on the nose would also improve it - remember, canine noses are wet, and they reflect light.
But all in all, a lovely piece - I bet Frosticee was thrilled!

Thanks a lot! I never really know where to put shading/lighting, and I know I need to practice more. I had completely forgotten about adding a highlight on the nose.. Thank you so much for pointing that out!

Tysm! To do the halo, I basically just drew a white line then blended it and repeated the step, then drew a white line and blended it a bit, so it was quite easy ^w^ And ty, it took me some time to draw the eyes, it means a lot to me!
