When under saddle, Bellis is a willing partner, calm and patient and tolerant of any mistakes. Even though she loves to run, she also knows when to relax and slow down, and has some lovely, long gaits to show in such occasions.
She is, however, prone to misbehaving when locked up in a stall for longer than a couple of days, thus spending most of her days out in the pasture among the mares. Friendly and sociable, this mare will happily take any position in the herd hierarchy, and gets along particularly well with the three cows sharing her pasture.

Drawing refs is probably the worst thing I know, it's really hard to not make them look boring and generic, as you said. DX But I think all of your ponies refs looks unique, even if some of them are similar.^^ And yes, the bridles make it look really neat and extra pretty.

I'm planning to do them all like this - more or less side on, bridle/halter on, standing, so yes, boring - there's a bit more freedom when you can put the horse in whatever angle/position you want to put them in, but I really want to showcase their conformation with these.

Well I didn't say they where boring! I also wanted all my refs to look clean and pretty like that, but I gave up after a while because it felt like I was drawing the same thing over and over again and didn't develop at all. I tend to get stressed really easily over things like that. XD But I really prefer simple refs where you can see the whole horse instead of weird angles and stuff, and there's a whole lot of ways a horse can stand still and look interesting anyway.

Ah, I'm drawing all of them like this and cross-hatching and all that stuff, it is incredibly annoying and it's always a relief to be able to draw other kinds of art - I think that's why my pictures have gotten so exuberant as of late, ahah.
