Roman days at Xanten 2012. Not really cosplay, because its as far as we know historical correct.

Nice work my friend!

Even though these are not real soldiers, I am sure that they have had a lot of training prior to public exhibition. Coordinating and working roman strategy does demand a lot of knowledge and practice.

If you consider that they came from all over Europe, they had only a few hours to train together. It was really good.

Nice video. Why were there 4 soldiers with oval shapped shields? I kind feel sorry for the poor guys in ancient times left behind and out of the turtle.
