Synopsis: "Star visits the school counselor."

If there are two things the best episodes of the show do, they are:

1. Unexpected but believable plot twists

2. Well developed characters

This episode follows both of those points to the letter. The episode involves Star being told by the school counselor that she's destined to be queen, which is not a very exciting job for her. It turns out that this was a plan by Tom to get Star to come back to him, which Marco tries to stop. This is an episode that works both ways. Star is a free spirited person, and the restrictive life of queen clashes with that idea, so she stays likable. Since Tom was given some positive qualities in his debut, he also stays likable despite his forceful methods. It's naturally pretty entertains, but the double moral on doing things your way (Star) and not being forceful (Tom) puts the episode into my good graces.

Side Note 1: Katie Crown is known for voicing Izzy in the Total Drama cartoons and (after moving to Los Angeles a few years ago) Clarence's mother on Clarence. She's also written for Clarence & Sanjay & Craig.

Side Note 2: Giancarlo Volpe was a director for Avatar The Last Airbender & Star Wars The Clone Wars and is co-creator of the Green Lantern cartoon.
